truck club anyone?
hey guy's, it's nate...some of yall know me, some of you dont...
anywho, i think it'd be awesome if we put a local truck club together, you know, so we could have those awesome decals and whatnot...it would be based around the tulsa area, and we could hit the local shows together this season...and also cruise memorial every once in a while just for fun...so, what do guys think? yay, nay? let me know asap!
thanks
PS: try to include ideas for names like tulsa gangsters (not really, lol)
and oh ya, my trucks not finished yet so don't worry, she'll look ALOT better in a couple o' weeks.

I think the concern is not to have a group of FTE'rs leave fte.com altogether and make their own "club" and not associate with FTE anymore.
But the biggest hurdle with the local club idea is how far apart everybody here is; both geographically and schedule wise. We all seem to work on different schedules. Personally, it would be just about impossible for me to commit to meeting somewhere on a consistent basis. My work, school, family schedule is just too full. Though I do enjoy the FTE food get togethers.

Ive been under the impression that FTE's Chapters, as a whole,ARE one big truck club, thats why i was so persistent on having gtg's last year..heck, we have even voted on a leader and member postitions, such as coordinators, etc..........lately, like they said, everyones schedules havent been messing well and the meets have been minimal if any.....and even when someone goes to great lengths to put together a meet at their home, most people that say they will be there dont show and it feels like its all for nothing....(sorry howard, i really wanted to be there, we all missed out).....As for not posting up and recruiting people on FTE, its kinda rude to recruit people from one place to start another, but thats just my personal opinion...

haha, ya I do, but I wouldn't do that to a site like this...Man, I was like whoa that's stupid, why can't I start a car club lol...but ya, would any one want to "put together a truck club and rep ford-trucks.com name"??? I have a buddy over in tahlequah that would want to for sure, he has I think a 72ish ford with 460, and a whole lotta other stuff. so, what do yins say?

Not in the forseeable future. I personally don't even have time to do the things I SHOULD be doing, much less things I'd like to do. I'm having to drive from Kiefer to Claremore for this trim job I'm doing. Leave the house at 6:00 and don't get home until 6:30 or 7:00. I'm just hoping this motor holds together until I get the other one built. Looking forward to meeting you guys sometime, whenever that might be.
