I am considering swapping a solid axle for my ifs. I have a 93 150 Super cab. I want to lift the suspension later and I have found that when you lift the ifs it looks like a plane with the landing gear folding in. The only correction I can think of is to swap out the axle for a solid unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

What I am trying to do is not lift the truck alot so I was thinking about just swapping out for leveling springs. All I want to do is just put a set of 33s on it. Without rubbing!

 

an SAS will require a minimum of 6" of lift period so that is out for you. to fit 33's on that year a minumum of 4" lift will be needed. leveling coils may work but you will have to move your front bumper out and remove the lower plastic piece thats on the bumper as well. even still it may still rub at full compression. 32" tires would fit no problem
