sport trac egr

my '01 sport trac has thrown an EGR code and since I have replaced both the EGR valve and the regulator gizmo next to it, the code still lives days later. I had it rechecked tonight and it's the same. Does anyone have experience with this situation? I am wondering if a bad vacuum line could do it.

Thanks

dunno the number, it says EGR flow is too low or something like that, I've done some searching since I posted this and it lead me to the DPFE sensor. So that is my next thing to replace.

the code number is extremely important , however if it was a p0401 then the dpfe sensor is bad

I appreciate your responses, looks like the dpfe sensor did the trick. next time I will pay closer attention to the code number. This little job cost me over $120 because I replaced the EGR valve and the EGR regulator before I got to the right part.
