Anyone familiar with Air Raid filter systems?

I was talking to a new PSD owner while at the fuel pump the other day, and he had the hood opened on his PSD to check the oil. I noticed that he had a filter system made by a company called Air Raid. He bought the truck used and didn't install it. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with this set-up? It looks pretty nice.

The Air Aid system is the same as the AFE stage 1 and similar to a K&N system. It is way better than the stock filter.

Thanks for the reply. It looked like it would do a better job than the stock system.

For flow, the K&N and such are fine. For engine protection - filtering out particulates - the K&N leaves a lot to be desired. If you live in a dusty environment, don't buy a K&N or AFE. Instead, if you are going to spend that much money, buy a Ford AIS. It flows better than most and filters better than anything you can buy.

If you want to be cheap (less than $30), research the "Kwik filter" (Napa 6637)on this forum. It flows much better than stock and filters better than anything - except for the AIS. Oh, get rid of the stock box. That sucker will leak and ruin your turbo and engine with dust. Oh, and the 6637 has the advantage over the AIS of sounding great - you put a nice exhaust on your truck, partly so you can hear that big engine exhaling. The 6637 lets you hear it inhale as well.
