Web site page for chapter
If a state chapter wanted to create a web page for their chapter , is it okay to use the name like Ohio/Ky chapter of FTE dot xxx ? or should it have a different name? a member inquired about starting a web page hosted by someone else....just need to find out about any guidelines concerning this.

I agree with you on that Dennis, I'm hoping that the two new ky members will grow to 10 active members and a leader will step forward, for the state to branch off, but untill then We will act as one.
but we will help get a logo designed of thier own.....but a ohio member asked about a web page who is also is the designer of the current logo, I also have read of another chapter looking into a web page.{After i posted this, not stealing anyones thunder}

So I thought I would ask how you guy's{admin} felt about it, before we get to far ahead of ourselves. Kinda like looking before you cross the street thing.....LOL

I'll help Ray,
We just thought an Ohio Chapter website would be a great way to promote the chapter, its members, the store and FTE as a whole. Actually, I would think the idea would work for all chapters w/in FTE.
There are many ideas for the site, but as Ray mentioned, we don't want to put the cart before the horse and make all these elaborate plans if the idea wouldn't be accepted.
To start, the page would have the official chapter logo on it as well as the FTE logo. We could list chapter members and link directly to each member gallery. The idea list could go on and on, but we need to start from the beginning...approval and guidelines.
Thanks for the consideration,
Randy

How would FTE like the website linked? Specifically I'm talking about linking photos, images, etc.
Example: If the Ohio Chapter wanted to have a page to display the gallery images of its members' trucks... Could the images be linked to the Gallery images already on the FTE site?
I know it means bandwidth, but consider the alternative. If we wanted to show our members' trucks and were not permitted to link the image directly from the gallery, we'd have to upload the pictures to our 50meg of space. In reality we'd be doubling at least the portion of server space used for the images.
Instead of actually have the images show up on our page the alternative, of course, would be to simply include a text link...simple, but boring...
Just wanted to get some clarification on this.
Thanks Ken and Admin,
Randy
