lift kit and snowplow

I have an 84 f-250 diesel with a fisher plow. I want to put a 4'' lift in for better looks. The only concern is the plow not working does any one see anything wrong with welding on more pin holes and a longer lift chain? Also what size tire would it fit?

lower the plow mount, and lenthen the lift chain. i have never had any problems with either of my trucks. the 79 is 4 inch, the 88 is 6 inch lift. as for tire size, with a 4 inch lift you should have no problems with 33 or 35 inch tires.
