Thats true, but I would ask what have people used and if they had pictures, I am considering buckets but not really sure about it. I would kinda like a newer style F-150 bench seat in mine you know the kind that has the middle arm rest you can move up into the seat if you need to seat a 3rd person.
Just a warning- my '70 had buckets in it, as well as my '64, and both suffered from lack of legroom. I don't really know why; the gas tank is removed. I think it has to do with the height of the seats or something. I think the bench seat is higher.

you brought up a good point, Well any higher and I couldnt drive, that HUGE steering wheel already about to hit me in the belly. I plan on getting a smaller one, but I guess buckets are higher. at least some of them. I would think some for a car wouldnt be though.
I used buckets from an 89 Subaru in my 84 F-250, they had a nice adjustable lumbar support, and good lateral support. Any seat from Ford trucks will bolt in on the sliders from your old seat, so maybe something from an early- to mid 90s supercab truck would be a good option.
