Angry Used a radiator shop lately???

I'm about to break down and farm out some work. All I need is to have the thing re-sealed: All brass replacement, about 6 (?) years old. I re-soldered it 2 years ago, just don't have the time or disposition to do it again.

Any recomendations for a local shop?

Thanks Ceet!
This is for the Taurus actually, that's why "all brass" was stuck in my brain. LOL It cost my sister around $200 when she owned the car.
Things have calmed down enough for me to start calling. Just wondered if anyone recently had service they were happy with.

LOL, Hypoid. I got FE on the brain. You don't think you can find a good one in a junkyard for around $25?

Not really, factory was plastic and aluminum.

I have re-soldered my share of old ones. After some time they work harden and you are basically S-O-L. That's the main reason I'll turn it over to a pro; less worry.

A good shop can basically re-make the whole thing, leak test, and guarantee the work. Right now that sounds very appealing to me.

Hypoid, I have a 98 Taurus and just replaced the radiator. My daughter rear-ended someone and smashed up all the front end parts. I got a radiator from a pick-n-pull for $25. I took it over to a small radiator shop here in town (Colorado Springs) and he checked it for leaks for me for nothing. It took him about 5 minutes. There are tons of them in the junkyards.

Yeah, it was Manley's. I usually go over to Joe's (place to take a leak) but he wasn't open.
