There is some info in this mo DIESEL POWER mag on the 6.4LTT. I belive it says it's to be hear in 07.

 

I heard no change for 07 SD and the all new SD in 08 MY... The early launch explanation sounds about right- We'll see.

 

It will arrive the day it gets here, and not a day sooner.

 

what he said... ^^^^ im going to buy a 6.0 yet this spring and by the time i get that one paid off and ready to trade the 6.4TT will be here and i will know if its any good

 

i'm keeping my 7.3 until i know the next SD is bugfree. whenever it does come out.

 

I love my 7.3 but i am worry about the mileage on it. i just tripped 155k on a 99. i depend om my truck and if it goes down i cant make any cash. i would love to have a new 550 but i know i cant swing something like that now. i definatly dont want the 6.0. i wish the new engine will come out that way i know if i can stick with ford.

 

ok im confused. Are you saying that in Jan2007 10 months from now we can buy a new body style, new motor, 2008 model SD? If that is the case i might just have to wait 10 months...

I'm with you. I'm getting ready to order a new 07 myself. F350 crew cab 6.0 dually lariat with tow boss.

 

From Trailer Life magazine dated 4/26/06:

"Ford has approved a future-engine program named "Hurricane" to compete with Dodge's Hemi V-8 engine. Ford should have the new 6.2-liter engine available when the redesigned F-Series pickup truck is introduced in late 2008 as a 2009 model. It is likely to be used in E-Series vans and motorhomes, also."

If the source of the information is good, then maybe the 6.4 powerstroke will be in the old body style for about a year before the new body style.

I hope you are one of the first to report how awesome the 6.4 is...when it is released.

 

The 07 model will be a 6.0 model. I work for Ford and we can already order 07's and I have all the order guides and it is definately a 6.0. I can tell you when the 6.4 will come out but a mid year change like the 03 sounds about right. And being that Ford was gonna make the 6.4 a 07 model and decided to wait a little shows that they are making sure they dont have an early release problem like the 6.0.....

 

I just threw the coupon away...Does this $5000 Ford Loyalty program apply to 07s? When is the last date to order an 07?

 

Macchomper- - heard anything about what the price increase for the 6.4 will be like?
