no, never add SCA's to a HOAT coolant. it is good for 5/150k if mixed 50/50.

I am looking at a 1995 F250 with a powerstroke diesel in it. I can't find any reviews on it and would like to know if this is a good engine.

I put 380K on my 5-speed '95 F-250 4X4. Only work I had to do on engine was waterpump, gpr, glowplugs, one sensor (can't remember which one, but it was expensive as I recall), and just the routine maint. of filter changes (fuel, air, oil, etc) and regular oil changes.

the gold coolant will last without the sca's if your gonna run coolant that long i would definately reccomend the coolant filter. you would be suprized how much crud comes out of the coolant system even after a flush. the elc coolants have something in it that suposedly isnt compatible with the copper injector cups in our trucks the superduties have stainless cups that are fine with the elc coolant. ive been running it in my trucks since 99 and havent had a problem but the warning is out there.......
