How is everyone doing? Anything new going on? Heard any good jokes lately?

Not much here. I'm getting some tint on the truck windows this weekend. Still waiting on the catch-all mat I ordered. I think I'm getting a cold too.

I think the Monster trucks are in town this weekend or coming up soon. I keep hearing something about it on the radio but don't pay enough attention to get the dates.

I think the Cardinals are starting spring training too.

Been working on the Cummins swap still, got the auto trans shifter set up and working good, if my darn torx socket wouldn't have trashed out, I could have taken it out for a spin.... oh well, it will be out soon. Still plenty of small details to take care of. Getting close though.

I'll be down your way Tuesday, have to see if we can't hook up.

I feel like a dead heal, not on here much. School going good keeping me busy, this adult learning is something else but it will pay off in the end. Clinicals have started so now i go to work and then work for free afterwards. When I do get on line I am looking up stuff for class or just reading post here and there.

Shocker still setting in the garage like it was the day I broke it. The flat bed needs repair also. I just bought a 83 f250 for parts to fix and upgrade the flat bed when ever I get the time to do so.

Well nice to read your guys stuff someday I will return and be around more.

Yeah, I'm scheduled for 2:00 pm, so however long it takes to get through all the b.s. Can't say for sure if we will get there any too early, have to be there an hour early as it is. Might be good for lunch if I can make it there in time, but it's about 4 hour's drive from here, and my mom has to come with, and she's got 2 more to go, at least I hope she can make it, have to see how the weekend goes, since she had a mild heart attack of a sort last night... I better be looking into a backup plan.

I'm not too far from you, over near Kahoka Its both motor and trans, 12v and the auto box, would have preferred to stay manual, but the cost was against it.

Keeping the Cummins mostly stock, it's going to be for hauling around a horse trailer and such, nothing real heavy. Since I kept the auto with it, I don't want to crank it up too much and then take out the trans, or have to put over $1000 into a convertor, or $2000 into a rebuild. It's going to have the Gear Vendors od behind it, so I'm not even hooking up the trans od on it, just dead weight basically, but I would rather that than trash the trans. Would be nice to have double od, but I haven't figured out how to make it work automatically, instead of having to engage and disengage it manually, just too much of a risk there in regards to safety and equipment longevity. The only time it could be used would be running the truck by itself, no trailer. That doesn't happen a lot, and when it would, it would likely be getting a load of feed or something.

Not a lot going on here. Midterms start Monday. Tomorrow (today) I have to go to springfield and help fix my brother's ranger again. It was mine for 16 years, so I know every bolt on it. Guess who gets to fix it now?
