I have a 95 f-250. There hasn’t been a dip sick in the last 15 thousand miles. The coil is wrapped in a hat and the wires are twisted together the tranny only had first and third 15 thousand miles ago. The frame almost touches in the front but I do have a brand new bumper. Every panel is dented should I even try to sell or part it or should I just junk it and donate it to our lacrosse team? Dan<O</O
sounds like an interesting truck you've got there. I would sell it. This truck despite its poor condition would still make a great donor truck for someone planning on a big swap or repairing after a major accident.
Donating vehicles isn't as viable as it once was. Congress has closed that loop. You can only deduct what the vehicle actually sold for now, not its blue book value.
If it's 4x4, it's worth some money for the axles and frame. Maybe $800? But if it's not, then you probably will not get much for it.
You can alway bury it up to the bumper in the front yard and use it as a planter.
