My last F-350 had the V-10. Nuff said. I later found out that there were good years and bad. Mostly due to design changes in heads & such. So, there were "better years and not so better for the V-10".
So are there "better years and not so better for the 7.3 FPS?" I've got the 2001 F-350. Very pleased . . . just curious.

 

A lot of people consider the 2000 to be the best year for the PSD. It's got the forged rods in the engine and it was before there were some slight problems with the trans. Depending on what build of 2001 you have, you could be lucky to have the same stuff though.
