Need a little help with Ohm's law please.

Trying to figure out how big of a relay to put on a VW TDI that has been modified. Glow plug command no longer works.
Glow plugs are 1/2 ohm.
At 12 volts X 4 glow plugs in parallel how many amps will that draw?

I=E/R or in other word amps equal s volts divided by resistance. (12v/.5r)*4=96amps.

Thanks Batgeek, I need to get a bigger relay. Only has a 70 amp relay on there right now and it's struggling to start on a cold morning.

I'd just run down to your local auto parts store and grab a Ford starter relay. 4-500 amps NO BIGGIE!!! That thing would last a long time only switching 100 amps.

That's what I did. I got a continuous duty relay that looks as big as a Ford starter relay, but you can leave it on all day long if need be. I forget the part number and it wasn't cheap. List is $73.00 and change.
