it is, and I plan to (practically anyway)! 1400 sq ft, Just 200 sq ft smaller than our house...

It actually wouldn't be difficult to turn into a house, with the 11' ceiling in the bay you could put in a 3' high false floor for utilities... Just would need a sewer hookup, it will have a heat pump for heat/cool.

Ax, Looking Good! If it was attached to the house, the combo would be a garage with a house attached. You just can't beat a good workspace. I refer to mine as my barn. A car friend calls his the toy box. We both log a lot of hours in them.

Looks great, No matter how big you build it always seems too small when its done, But it looks like your working on that problem.

That's very true, I did a walk around with the contractor this AM and was in the upstairs for the first time, and even though large, it didn't feel really big. Fortunately I have ceiling height to put in loft and off floor storage both downstairs and up, the secret is going to be keeping the floor area as clear as possible.
