I just bought a 78 F-150 with a 400 cid engine and everything seems to work alright except for the rear window. The previous owner put a sliding glass window in and it leaks. I'd like to replace it. Will other model's rear windows fit or do I have to find a 78?
Jowilker i dont want to upset a posting guru II like yourself but i have seen some real chinsy aftermarket split rear windows that leak and dont slide very well either
The rear windows from '73-'96 will work, as I just put one out of my wrecked '84 4wd into my '78 (it had a crappy slider, w/o any seals left on the sliding pains!!) Thanks, Doc
Thanks everyone. The rear slider that is in the truck now actually had moss growing in the track when I bought it. It's a shame to treat such a great truck so lousy.
