Just wanted to bring this to the top again. My T-shirt guys contacted me this morning asking about dates for the show. Also, I don't think we have anyone in charge of t-shirts/gifts etc. Anyone want to step up? If not, I'd be glad to take care of it. Do we want anything besides t-shirts??? coffee mugs??? sweatshirts??? hats???? Lemme know!!!

There hasn't been much of any response from any of the people that said they would help. You may be right. I tried to get into contact with the guy that did the logo for the rally with no luck, but I have a local artist that would like to have a shot at it. I am going to have him look at the stuff from the 2004 show on monday. Jack, Duane, and I are going to look at possible locations on sunday since we haven't gotten much response from the dealerships.

We are still working on a location. We had hoped for some support from one of the dealerships, but they are fairly busy and we don't want to be left without a place. I know that a lot of things depend on the place but I have not gotten much feedback from the people that said they would help. Don't get me wrong, there have been a few, but not the amount that is needed at this time. We all know how difficult it was for Rollie to pull off the rally with such short notice, and he had Peggy, who's full time job was to help him. I don't want to be in that boat, I can't imagine that it was pleasant for any of them.

From this point on, I would like to move any discussion about Fordtoberfest to www.fordtoberfest.com. On the bottom left of the screen, there is a link that says "Committee". If the planning committee will click on that, it will take you to a forum dedicated to Fordtoberfest and allow you to register. I have posted an update there. Thank you.
