What kind of driving will you be doing? Alot of highway? Mostly city, short trips? That will be a factor for which gas engine and axle ratio.

The best combination depends entirely upon how you want to use it. Towing, show, off-road, plowing, what?

I agree with V10man, V10 and 4.30's. That is the setup I have and I'm very pleased with it. It may be a little harder on gas but if you ever do any towing you'll be glad you went that route.
