uc4me,
I live in the Cuse. Only my 48 is on the road. The 53 hopefully (if I can hold my father in law hostage long enough)
will be to. He has a 56 that's restored. How far along are you?
I just have drivers, do as much as I can afford to, which ain't much.

I just got the truck home on tuesday and pulled off the front clip, will be picking up the engine and trans this weekend (429/C6) and will start figuring out mounting and such next week.
The truck needs alot of sheet metal work (cab floor/cowling/cab corners...etc...)
I hear you about the $$$ this is going to be a low buck (hopefully high fun) project, I want the truck to be usefull as a truck but still cool to cruize around in.
if you want...Shoot me a PM or email and we can work out a meeting and I'll show you the hunk o crap

429 C-6 huh? Your going to need a gas pump in the bed. A lot of guys on here have big v8s, it's just not for me.
I have a 51 Merc flathead V8 in my truck by the po, which I am thankful for. Otherwise i'd be driving a six around town. I like the charm of steering by armstrong, shifting and the difficulty in driving these things I guess. To each his own...
Maybe we will get together sometime. I'm kind of busy right now, overscheduled children and all.

48fordjeffie,
I've never heard of the Spencerport you speak of.
Just kidding, I live in Hilton. I did know that there was an early for V8 club but I don't know much about it. I do attend their swap meet every spring but have never looked into their club. Maybe I should.
There's not may of us old Ford truck fans up here in rust country.
Take care - Brad
