Sometimes it's just a matter of working it till it goes. I have been known to put the tranny in gear and turn the driveshaft back and forth a bit to get the splines to line up. Another trick is to take a couple of long bolts that will thread into the block and cut the heads off, then thread them in (one on each side) and use them as guide pins. They'll keep the engine and tranny in alignment as they come together.

Talking 2.3L installation problem

Just as a tempremental woman...you sometimes have to work at it a bit to put it into place...ya' know, grace and beauty are refered to as things of beauty.

I'm also looking for the spell checker to make my words right...is there one here?

We don't have one built into the forum software but there are several good online ones you can use. I sometimes copy and paste to Word for a spellcheck of a post, but usually it's just individual words that I sometimes need to check, for that I use a nifty little program called Wordweb.

Thank You TD

Hi TigerDan,

I usually use my spell checker in my PC but I was looking for an easier way...creatures of habit are we.

Your right on the ball, you are!
