I was looking at new turbos and the BB ones sound like a better turbo.Whats the stock turbo have in an 02 7.3 bushings or what?What do you really gain from the BB turbo,is it worth it?

 

the stock turbos have a "thrust bearing" that is no where near the smoothness or responsiveness of a ball bearing cartridge. you probably got the urge from hearing Cat_man_963 rant and rave over his, so ask him or cookie88, i know they both have BB units, i believe both the Garrett Powermax GTP38R.,

While the BB may not be the turbo for everyone, I'm glad I got one, and I'd do it again!!
