Volare sway bar installation- help!
hello guys,
I noticed that my sway bar retainer bolts are missing. I lined them up with the holes in the crossmember, but am having a hard time bolting them in with the sway bar bolts connected to the lower control arms.
I unbolted the sway bar main bolts, and got the retainer bolts in and lined up, but the main bolts wont fit where they are supposed to. Know what I mean? Is there a certain order I have to do it to make them all fit? Im stumped!
Do I have to undo the lower control arms, and then install the sway bar, and THEN attach the lower control arms?

I installed my sway bar with my clip on the workbench and the bar retainer bolts went in with only minor pry bar persuasion (with the sway bar bolts connected to the lower control arms). I experienced the same problem you are when helping my friend with his Volare clip build for his f1. After a few hours of wrestling with the sway bar, we went to the local U-Pull-it Salvage Yard and got a clean replacement bar which went in with no problem. Apparently the bar had been bent at some point and we could not tell it without comparing it to another bar.
