Whats a good price???
Ok guys,
Here's the story:
About a year and a half ago, I bought a 1953 Ford F-250. I took out the tired I-6 and put in a 460/C-6 combo along with a 3:55 geared 9" rearend. This way I kept the whole truck "Ford". Anyway, the thing needs a new bed as the original is no good in anyway. I also put on 5 lug front spindles so the front rims and tires match the rears. Well, I then packed everything I owned into it and hooked up a to dolly and used it to tow our 67 mustang to Florida from Washington state. It waas a great trip. The only real problems we had were a coil wire coming off in the mountains, and a rearend axel bearing going bad in Bozeman Montana. That was it. It got around 10 MPG the whole way! Well, now the front seal on the transmission is leaking and I dont want to fix it myself.....plus, my son no longer wants the truck....He wants a mustang like his sisters.....So I am considering selling the truck to buy a newer mustang (86-93). What would be a decent price for this beast? It needs a new windshield, and a new passenger side window...Both are cracked....but the pass side window can be bought from a catalog for around $50 and the windshield can be bought for around $250......The dash cluster is a custom piece that I made myself out of aluminum...all the gauges have been replaced with Autometer gauges....The speedo reads pretty close.... The motor runs GREAT! and NEVER overheats. It has a thermostaticly controlled electric fan and an electric Holley red fuel pump. The tires are in great shape....so my question here is: What is a good asking price for this thing????????
