I have just come across this truck and was wondering if any one could let me know what the hp/torque rating on the engine is. It has a 351M in it. Also I was thinking of converting it from auto to Manual. Any insite on how hard this would be.

 

hp is any where from 136 to 209 in my book on old fords and its not that hard to change from auto to manual as lon as it is not a 4x4 with 4x4 it is a little tougher

 

I have no idea what area your in and im not being a smart a$$ but have alot of fun finding the manual components if its a 4x4, it can be pretty tricky, their hot items here in the new england area. ~Mike

by the way, I was just wondering what manual transmision would have come with this if it were stock? I am trying to keep keep the truck close to stock if possible.

NP 435 four speed came stock in a lot of these trucks. I have one in Iowa, just need the correct bellhousing.
