Spark Problems

Hey guys,I was moshing around in the bush, went through a bunch of big puddles. Then all of a sudden my engine died. I went back up the next day to get it running and I found I had no spark, I checked all the wires, etc. Thought the dizzy was wet so I checked that and it was dry as a bone. I bypassed all the wiring and made sure I had direct current going to the coil, still no spark. So what's the problem? I'm guessing the coil isn't letting enough juice through. Any ideas?

If you ran 12 volts direct to the coil + and still no spark, it could be a dead coil, coil ground missing..... is it a duraspark or points? Points it will be a black wire from the distributor, duraspark it should come from the brain box. Maybe the points are burnt together. If duraspark maybe the brainbox died from "drowning"
Also could be other things like rotor not turning, sheared drive pin possibly..... dead coil wire.

Spark Problems

It is a points system, I used to have a dual point distributor from accel in my truck but went back to the stock single point dizzy. Ummm, I checked all the wires going to the coil, they all seemed tight but probably better to redo them just to make sure.
