Hi guys......I have a quick question I hope one of you can help me out with. My current daily driver is a 1993 full size Bronco.....I done a few things to it so it better fits the type of driving I do most of the time......
Anyhow.......I been thinking about getting a F250, but I want the extended cab and the shortest bed available. I would also like to put a cap on it.....but.....what I would like to know is. Is there a seal that would go between the cab and cap. I want to remove the rear window....or a good quality slider would work.....so my dogs can go from the bed to the cab without too much difficulty.
So since I never had a pick-up with a cap.......I would like to know can the cap be sealed to the cab so as to not let the elements in???
I used to work at a truck topper shop, and they have a seal that can be put between the cap and the cab, and it has a clear plastic protector, so it won't rub the cab paint. They seem to work pretty well. I'd check with your local retailer of truck toppers, and see what they have.
