IS ur efi Stock????? Cuze if you havent converted to mass air or have some sort of after market efi system in it you cant, you could run a carb but in my opion that would be a waste of time and money.

YES it is possible to run stock speed density with boost. Also, don't think you can throw mass air comonents on a modified and/or boosted combo and expect it to solve all of your problems....it will also need some type of aftermarket tuning being that there is a power adder. I say this because I've tuned my own rigs with both (speed density and mass air, boost and N/A, and larger injectors). Now, on the flip side to that, finding someone that can tune speed density will be a little more challenging vs. a mass air setup. A mass air application will need an aftermarket air meter (for boost) and both systems will need ignitiion and fuel system modifications to support the power a blower or turbo is going to make.

Sorry i always assume people have no money. And in less you can aford to buy somthing like AEM. The best way would be to get mass air out of a old mustang and fit it to you aplication.

Well, you can do the simple bolt-ons. Each will be noticeable and they much less than a supercharger. Something things you can do now would be; exhaust, headers, Underdrive pulleys, e-fans, bump the timing up a few degrees (this one's free), traction bars, shift kit and taller gears....I'm sure I missed a few. You can also do ignition components, but in my experience, you'd be better off spending your money in other areas. Not saying that aftermarket systems are bad, just not worth it with the above listed bolt-on parts. If this were for a power adder (blower, turbo and/or nitrous), then that would be different story.

any bolt on for a 5.0 mustang you can do too... including a cam swap, roller rockers, stall converter, gears, headers, underdrive pulleys, getting a set of aluminum heads!

you can spend a total of 3000.00 dallars on all these bolt ons and still be short of making the power when bolting on a supercharger on your stock 5.0.

vortech makes a supercharging system for your year, its big $$$$ but it works with speed density or maf because it takes the ignition system off the closed loop by adding a map sens to run the boost retard **** and igniton controller, as well as a add on high pressure pump and a fuel management unit. Point is it works with either maf or map. I don't have one just looked at the instalation instuctions at www.summitracing.com (part # vor-4fe218-070s)
