I have a 1999 F250 Super Duty Lariet PSD. Prior to this truck I had a 2003 F250 Super Duty V10. It also was a Lariet. The 03 had the OEM fog lights the 99 does not. However the 99 does have the pull out headlight switch for the fog lights like the 03 had. My question, is the 99 wired for the fog lights already so if I got some OEM fog lights are they just a plug in? If so where might I find the plug for the fog light connection?

Some trucks do have the wiring hanging down in the front where the lights hooked up, some do not. There is also a relay required that is located in the fuse box under the hood.

What is interesting is I looked this up in the factory cd manual, and I could not find a listing for a foglamp feature for the superduty, or the f250/350 trucks. I looked under the other listing that had f150/250, and they do show a foglamp option. The f150/250 must be the lighter duty trucks since it did not show a diesel option.

 

I will look around for a tire connector... IT is definately a F250 Super Duty (99) and so was my 03 which had the factory fog lights?

In the 99 manual they show three types of trucks.

f150/250
f250/350
superduty

Only the wiring diagram for the f150/250 shows foglamps.

In the 2000 manual they show only two types of trucks.

f150
superduty

No foglights are shown for the superduty in the 2000 diagram

In the 2001 manual they still show two types of trucks

f150
superduty

And in the 2001 superduty wiring diagrams, they do show foglights.
