This is something that I heard from some land clearing guys. They told me that the Florida Department Of Motor Vehicals is allowing off road diesel to be used in on road personal trucks until further notice, due to the hurricanes last summer. Any info would help.

 

They may be right. I know here in Florida after hurricane Charley they were allowing off-road diesel to sold and used for use on the road. They allowed this for several weeks after the hurricane but only in the areas impacted by the hurricanes. It was also suggested that you save your receipt just in case it was still in your tank after that time frame and you were stopped and still had some in your tank. I have not heard anything about this last hurricane season or seen it being sold anywhere.
