Talking Are shorty style headers worth the investment?

Hey guys/gals,
Pretty sure this has been asked time and time again:
Is investing in a set of shorty style headers worth it?
Got a 94/F150 R/C 351W/E4OD all stock except 2.5 dual exhaust...is there ANY gain at all compared to the stock manifolds? I'm looking for the edge on torque for pulling my camper this summer.

I just had the exhaust put on and don't REALLY want to go through the effort to put on long tubes. I'm not looking for a miracle, just want a little more torque at off-idle - 3000 rpm.

Keep on truckin'

I put shotys on my 5.8 and they didn't make a bit of difference.I had no choice since I had a cracked manifold and junkyards don't want to waste time on things they can't make money on.Even worse,I busted one of the rear most bolts off in the head and have to replace the gasket about once a year. That is a real pain.
