Hmm, I would have to put them side by side but it might be hard telling the 2 apart on the highway.

It looks pretty impressive thats for sure.
The main problem may be the seat of the pants power.... The 6 speed will go some way to resurecting that, BUT still...

Very impressive. Looks like ford is really trying to back up their promises in those recent commercials.

Anyone think that 6 speed will make itself into the f150? .. its definetly due for a new transmission.

Not bad looking at all. I definately see influences from both the (new) Explorer and Super Duty in it.
I'd like to see how the dimensions between the two lengths compare to the difference between the Tahoe and Suburban.

No offence, but that thing is UGLY! I still like my solid axles too. IRS is Not for me.

I don't think too many people will be buying these to go offroading in, so the solid axel is pretty much of no use in a vehicle like this.

I know its a subjective thing, but I don't see how it can be considered ugly, bland maybe.. but its not really offensive. I like the styling personally.

I like the look of it. is the EL (extra 14 inch's longer) option suppose to take over for the excursion?

The last I had heard is that they are coming out with somthing called the Everest to "replace" the Excursion. I like the new Tahoe a little better but the Ford's interior looks nicer. I have not been a fan of the F150 body since they changed it from the OBS in 97 or so.
