Just got home to Monticello Fl (25m e of Tallahassee) at 4pm Eastern. Had nothing but a great experiance. Arrived via Airtran Fri evening, hoping Jeff's flight made it back too. Jeff picked me up at the Hampton Inn 8:30a Sat. Was on the road with the kids new F150 at 10. Everything went smooth as silk. All of my notions about New Yorker's were totally busted! Everyone that I had contact with at Van Bortel's were as nice and professional as you could possibly ask for. It was a pretty exciting trip for a Florida boy though. The snow started about 20m west of Rochester and didn't stop till Virginia. It's bad enough not being use to driving on snow, but in a 2wd pickup to boot. It didn't help me any seeing 4 or 5 experianed New Yorkers stuffed in the guard rail either. Truck got 18.5mpg on trip home. About what I expected from a 6 banger. Thanks Jeff!
