I don't know if any of the replies in that post could help me because from what it sounds like, those noises only happen when the truck makes a turn.
I have noise in the front end also and what I'm experiencing is constant in addition to steering and making turns. I can drive in straight line and it does it too. The best way I could describe the noise is it sounds like and old squeaky bed (the kind you sleep on). Most of the noise sounds like it was coming from the driver's front. Replaced bushings and boy what a pia that was. Turned out that's not the problem. Any ideas?
My other problem is the power mirrors. The drivers side mirror only moves side to side while the passenger mirror only moves up and down. Talk about being possessed!!! What do I do to fix that?
Sounds like someone has bumped your mirrors. Try pushing on the glass with your hads and moving the position of the mirror in the holder. Your will hear a clicking when this is done. I have experienced this on my 97 and the fix was easy.
Don't have a clue on the squeak. Sounds like something is in need of lubricating.

A dry pitman arm can be noisy in a straight line as well, particularly if the occurrence of the noise coincides with the vehicle traveling over an uneven surface.
