It finally happened
I just wanted to give everyone here an update. I have had my '04 FX4X4 screw for 2 years (almost) and put 24000 miles on it. I have towed heavy loads, I have had it on several long trips, and have not had a single problem untill now.
At night, when the lights are on the little up arrow on the drivers window button does not illuminate.
So I guess that now I finally have something to gripe about like so many of the people on this forum.

I don't want to be negative, I was trying to be a little bit of a smart a** about what has been my perception (for the 2 years that I have been on this site) that alot of people like to get on here and gripe about anything.
I have not had a single thing wrong with the truck and wanted everyone here to know there are some good ones out there.

In for over $30K on a new truck that won't start on occasion, and where the sunroof won't close when there's a rainstorm coming in...
I wouldn't consider those petty complaints. Or how about headlights that flicker on and off by themselves at night.
You should grateful that you haven't had these problems, not spiteful.

I've had the dreaded vibration problems and have read and posted alot of them here,(along with some of the remedys that were tried). This info is handy when going back to the service department multiple times.The info here also helped me have a better understanding of what the issues were and how to go about getting them fixed.For me this forum is about sharing info, not to pi$$ and moan.
Dcotton, I'm happy for you that you got a great truck from the get go,but please have some patience with those of us that got 30k vibrators.We all want what you've got.

Not to make "light" of a serious problem as vehicle vibration but maybe you should notify this H. Stern guy of your vibration problem. Maybe one of his listeners can make a PR deal out of your problem in some kinko way and make you some serious "cashola." If not, then I hope Ford stands behind their product and either CORRECTS your problem or compensates you properly.

ArtsBest, My vibrator no longer vibrates.I know what your saying , Calling it "the vibrator" had been an ongoing joke with me and my friends(sometimes you just have to resort to some humor). Many trips to the service department and a service manager that wouldn't give up was the key to making it right.

It's supposed to work... mine does the same thing... I found that if I tap on it hard with my finger then usually it'll come back on... that is weird that so many people seem to have probs with the same little triangle... LOL
