Anyone have a junk 460 head they need to get rid of?
Okay guys, this might sound sort of weird, but I need a single cylinder head for a Ford 460.
The reason for this, is that Autozone has remmaned F3 heads for $265, but there's a $75 core, and I only have one old head. So I'm wondering if anyone has a junked E7 or F3 casting, it would be great if I could take it off your hands and turn it in as the core
It doesn't matter HOW messed up the head is. It could be compleatly cracked in half for all I care, coverd in rust, warped, melted, messed up port job, anything. I actually have one of the old E7 heads that I messed up, so if anyone has a single (or pair) head out there, I'd really appreciate if you'd let me take if off your hands.
And honestly considering the dolts at Autozone, it could probably be a head off just about any large V-8 engine, I doubt they'll know the difference.
