Different Shifting?
Ok my buddy has a 96 PSD E40D 4x4, he let me drive the truck the other day, it shifts so wierd, compared to my old school C-6.
At a dead stop, i punch it and take off, it feels like it shifted into 2nd so early it was a wierd feeling, but it didnt "shift" the RPM slowly dropped and then it shifted, at about 2500 RPM or so. It didnt slip into 2nd gear it was a wierd feeling, then driving at about 35MPH i punched it, and it felt like instead of downshifting to pass, it upshifted to a little lower RPM?
Is this just how the diesel E40D works, or is this thing junk???
