I am definitely a fan of chopped tops. I've loved this truck since it was in several different colours of primer. It just keeps getting better.

thats dupont base clear over john deere blitz black. i got electric accuators.i am not to far from indy. small town of elwood straight up highway 37 bout 40 miles. going to super sunday swap meet on sunday.

latching front end
that one was a hard one to figure out john. i had noticed that when my front end came down to the cowl it dropped straight down then slid back about a 1/4 inch. then when it opened it slid forward then up. i molded in a small piece of flatbar on each side of the hood. then i cut a small slit on both sides of the cowl. when the top drops then slides back the flatbars slide right into the slits, hold real tight. works pretty good.
