Question 3G alternator upgrade

I'm planning on doing the 3G alternator on an '81 Bronco but could use a little help on whats involved with this upgrade. I looked at all of the tech articles and cant seem to find anything on this. If anyone has done this could you please post some info or even pics if possible. Also what are good prices on a 3G 200a I found one site selling them new for $269 standard regulator , or $329 with a heavyduty regulator if anyone knows of beter pricing could you post a link or pm me. Thanks.

You can get a 3G (130amp) from the boneyard for $20-$30. Just requires modification to the harness (fordfuelinjection.com) (Ryan) sells a good harness or pa-performance.com also does for $15-20.

I've done this install so let me know if you have any questions.
