There are many posts about mileage. This used to be a concern. After adding the edge attitude, exhaust and an intake I still didn't get any major improvments. Probably because of the 35" tires and 6" lift. Also I live in So Cal and commute 60 miles one way on the I-15(all hills and 90 mph) I did get tired of refuelling so much so i got an in bed tank that looks like a tool box and actually has storage plus 65 gal of fuel. It is connected to my fuel line by 2 valves on the floor in front of the driver's seat. It also has an in line filter. With my 38 gal stock tank I usually go 1100 miles between refuels. When I come home from Iraq this spring I'm buying a 5th wheel and going across country.

Bet you get a new home equity loan when you fill them both up, too.
BTW: I have two nephews there now. Thanks for being there and get home safe.
My wife says diesel is still higher than a Girraffe's butt. Californis prices are insane. I got a commercial fuel card and get a good discount on both normal and red dye diesel which I use on my farm equipment. wink wink! I heard rumors of inspection statons with sniffers. I figure it is B.S.but it isn't worht the fine so I don't bother.
Hope you nephews are safe and taking it to them. I assure you that the Marines up here are "Hookin' In" Thanks for your support.
I am a commercial driver, and in fact a lot of states are placing check points at the weigh stations. Stay out of them and you will probably not have any problems.
If you get caught running red or blue fuel in a diesel it is a $10,000.00 federal fine.
Some indian reservations sell the dyed fuel to unsuspecting drivers.
I ain't gonna use it, for sure.
2003 Ford super duty with 6.0, 95 gallon tank in bed, tool box, air lift suspension, and air driver seat by National seat. Love the seat... The 6.0 sucks.
