fuel sender removal.....

how do you get the dang thing out......

manual is so famously vauge on it and dosnt make sense. also how many of yall have reused the gasket without a problem?

Out of the tank? It's just a threaded ring holding it on. Use a block of wood and a hammer to loosen.

The block of wood will keep you from destroying the metal ring, but it also prevents sparks. Be aware of the potential danger from sparks, but it's not as big a deal as with gasoline.

i was using a brass draft but it wouldnt seem to budge just wanted to make sure there wasnt a trick i was missing. gotta do the tank mod i got the dahl 150 in and cant belive how much air comes through it right now. or i got a fitting leaking...that i cant find...

its fixing the pickup tube so it dosnt mix with returned fuel. so your not getting heated airerated fuel. search for hutch mod, i gotta run ill go into more details later. but this was derived from a guy named hutch. there should be some good writeups or ask kwikk for the writeup link.
