99-02 f250's Some Questions within.

Hi everyone, I'm in the market for a good truck, and try as I might the 99-02 series f250s just turn my crack right. My questions are are there any important nagging problems that these trucks seem to buy, and anything I should particularly look for while inspecting one of the trucks in the prospects of purchasing. Or if there is anything else of interest to do with this year range and model that would help me out. I'd much appreciate the input!

Thanks,

Alan

A large percentage of the 2001's had a problematic automatic transmission. Had an assembly called a mechanical diode inside that was a real weak point.

Do a search for mechanical diode.
