For all you Houston folks.

We need to do something to get this chapter going again. I suggest a small meet and greet somewhere. I live up in the Woodlands so I am inclined for something on the north side.Remember, a running Ford is not a requirement to show up to a get together.

Anyone with any ideas please chime in. I would like to see this chapter achieve the same level of activity it had a year and a half ago.

I'm new to the chapter but think a meet and greet is a good idea and so is Hooters. Somewhere inside the 610 loop would be fairest since people are probably scattered in all directions. I personally live in the Clear Lake area so a trek to The Woodlands is a bit of haul just for lunch. My .02

I also live in the Clear Lake area. A meet and greet sounds like a good idea.

How about a meet and truck show off at Hooters at Kirby and Southwest Freeway? How many people would be willing to meet there?

Any sugestions for a time and a place? The "Official" 1st and 2nd get togethers had three FTE'ers show up for the first and 2 people for the second. Still, fun was had by all.

The first was in B/CS at former chapter leader Rosati's house. Ray and I both drove over 200 miles to attend. (different trucks and from different locations.)
The last one was JD and I meeting at, you guessed it, HOOTERS!

So you see, some of us are willing to drive a bit to meet others.

Chime in with sugestions and we can all decide together on the time/ date/ and place.

Chris,

I am from Houston, but moved to South College Station for school, but willing to drive to The Woodlands or to Houston, doesn't matter to me, and I have never been to Hooters, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit if that's where we went...

Shoot, we can think about going to the Dixie Chicken up there if it is still open. (Been a few years since I've been up there)

in all honesty, it would be better to go somewhere down there, all of the students are back in town and every place is crowded...
