kicking tranny...normal??
i have an 00 f 150 (4.6) and i have serviced and had a minor rebuild on the trans, but it still kicks when it shifts from first to second. especailly when its under a load or something like that. will a shift kit help this is maybe is it in the differential?

A shift kit will actually produce those shift characteristics. The shift kit makes the transition from one gear to another much quicker than a tranny w/o a kit.
Does the rough shifting ONLY occur between 1st and 2nd? Not between 2nd and 3rd?
If it only ocurrs between gears 1 & 2 then you have some problem and need to have it solved.
