My 91 had been ticking badly since it got real cold here. I tried changing the oil and it got worse (coincidence) Then I lost a cylinder. The end rocker arm pedistal bolt broke. The broken piece turned out with my fingers. The bolt must have loosened up over time since I replaced it no more tick. If you tick it might just fix it and is free.
