Well you know that little round ball on the left fender that holds vauum for your HVAC system. It's plastic and the smaller barb broke off on mine. Anyone ever try to drill and tap or other wise repair one. I haven't seen a replacement anywhere. Thinkin about using a Crane cams can that's designed for power brake reserve (5"x7"). Any ideas?
Bear,
That's just a reservoir like your brake booster. All you need is a container to hold vacuum and a check valve. I just threw mine away and hook it to the manifold. Works fine for me.
Good Luck, Have Fun,

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Dec-01 AT 04:54 PM (EST)] Thanks but I'm afraid a used one will be as bad as mine in short order due to age of the plastic. I'm not sure but I think it's supposed to close the outside vents when you shut off the engine and hold things when your hard on the gas.
DANG FORDS! 280,000 miles and I've already worn out several things.
