Front Grill Shells
I have a 1977 Ford.Can I take a 1978 grille shell and mount it in place of the 1977 grille shell?Or maybe the 1979 grille shell?I know the grille itself will change.But that is what I am after.Will the screw holes line up/

All of the above is possible. I hear by drilling a few holes, the 78/79 rectangular headlight grilles will bolt up fine.

Front Grill Shells
[font color=red size=2]I put a '79 grill on my '73, and it went easy. Get the shell, grill, headlight doors, the metal headlight buckets that bolt to the radiator support, and the small corner brackets on the top that the buckets bolt to (hard to describe with just words...
).
Then strip your old grill and shell off your '77. First put on the new corner brackets and put the two top bolts into the buckets - mark and drill the bottom ones through your radiator support. Then finish bolting it up. I had to cut and splice the new blinker wiring, but the headlight wires reached fine. Easy swap, took about an hour.
