grill oxidization
I've used a good quality polishing compound and a soft buffing wheel on my 3/8" electric drill int the past, with very good results.
This will also work on the chromed plastic headlight bezels, as well.

Jayson, First remove the anodizing, )oven cleaner, lye or something costic like that) and then polish & buff it.
