Fog Lights OFF.....High Beams On

Has anybody come up with a solution? I just found this out over the weekend. For some reason, Ford designed things screwy. I for one, would like my fog lights to stay on while the high beam headlights are on. My friends Toyota is the exact same way.

I installed a jumper wire on the switch of my 94 (in 96) and it works fine and no troubles.

They are like that because of legislation that fog light should only operate with low beams.

It's easy to change. Splice in a new hot wire to the fogs that is independant of the light switch.

no need for a new wire. do a search for this. you need to ground out a prong in the relay. also the law has nothing to do with Fog lights by themselves . it simply states it is illegal to exceed a certain amount of watts. this is a serious offense here in cal will run you 500.00 and a fix it ticket.

I DID do a search first. Wouldn't you? I looked up fog lights under the Lightning section. I read for two days (not quite), but found nothing of what I needed. Any better help, then "do a search"?

Look up the law before you dismiss what someone else says. Who knows? They just might be in possession of a fact or two that you are unaware of.

no need to mess w/ the wires, you can drill out part of the switch.

EDIT:just spent 30 minutes looking for a link and can't find it. I'll look again later and post it. It's either in the 97-03 F150 or Expy forum.
