Transfer Case indicator light.
I have a '76 F250 4x4. There appears to be a indicator light that illuminates when the truck is shifted into 4WD; I found it tucked under the dash just dangling. Where did it original mount? I don't have the owner's manual. Any ideas? Thanks

I have a 1974 owners manual and it describes an item called the "transfer case lock warning light (four-wheel drive)". It is mounted on the very bottom edge of the dash directly below the center air/AC vents which in looking at the whole dash would be in between the cigarette lighter and the glove box door. In looking at the picture, it probably ends up being just above or in close proximity to where the transfer case shifter mounts (maybe to the right a little). I hope this makes sense.

Transfer Case indicator light.
I saw a wire for it in the wiring diagrams of my service manual, However I dont think my NP205 tcase has a switch that would tell this light when to turn on, can anyone clue me in on this as I would like to have the idiot light, what shape is this light, what color does it light up as? are your truck F-150's or 250's ?
