Need one 16x5.5" F-1/F-100 rim ... anyone got one?

Hey everyone. A while ago I bought a set of 16x5.5 rims for my 1960 F-100 from a guy online. The purchase took place outside of eBay and he sent the rims, but one of them was a 15" and not a 16". I've tried contacting him multiple times but at this point it looks like I'm stuck with only 3 16" rims.

Anyone have an extra 16x5.5 rim they'd sell me? If you're willing to sell me 2, that'd be good too ... it'd be nice for the spare to match. I apologize if it's in bad taste to post things like this on the message board and not in the Classifieds, but my classifieds in the past have received little to no attention.

Too bad about your problem. I have 3-4 16 inch rims form a 50-60 Ford truck that I don`t need but the distance would make it too expensive. Hopefully you can find some alot closer.

Dang. Someone closer probably has a set ...

Just to clarify, for anyone who doesn't know, 1960 Ford trucks had the old-style Ford wheels with the inward-pointing hubcap nubs.

If you have not waited too long you can use eBay's problem resolution team - they can get you your money back. I used them once and it did work.

The transaction took place outside of eBay, unfortunately. I had to do that to negotiate the sale of a set of 4. eBay's resolution team has no jurisdiction.

Fomoko1, where are you located?

Hi Jim, I about 400 miles north of the Montana/Dakota border, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Seems kind of far for shipping, don`t have any other means of getting them to you. I will have to check and make sure that the rim/rims are still kicking around.

You can't be very far south of the artic circle! Say hello to Santa for me, and tell him I have been a very good boy this year!

How cold is cold to you?

Hi WillyB. Not quite at the Artic circle as it is more than 1,000 miles away, just seems that way at this time of the year.
How cold is cold? Right now it is about 23 below, too cold for alot of out door activity. More than a little frost on the pumkin!

-23 F = -30C

That's cold !

I HATE winter here and the coldest we get is -10, and that's at o'dark hundred when I'm safe in bed.

I've got to ask......WHY ??

It is beyond my comprehension/understanding why people choose to live somewhere with such cold weather.....when they could pack up and move to SoCal.

Serious question....Why?. What is the attraction of living in the frozen north? People must like something about it. What?

Home is home. I might scratch my head if someone were to move to a climate like that, but totally understand those who stay in the area they grew up.

Besides, you need more than a pocket full of money to move to So. Cal.
